    A slightly different take for ourselves with this screening in collaboration with Dog Friendly Angus. We are calling all four legged friends! It’s officially going to be a dog-bonanza at the castle with our favourite pet film of all time; ‘The Secret Life of Pets’. With the second instalment of the film set to be released this month, it’s the perfect time to catch up with this hilarious film. Simply put, you would be barking mad to miss this one.

    There will be awards on the night for best dog, over a few different categories, so bragging rights are at stake for this one. Hot drinks and hot food will be available on the night as normal from local vendors and we haven’t forgot about the dogs here, doggy popcorn and snacks will be available too..

    Please bring your chairs and anything else along you wish to enjoy the night. But most of all make sure you bring your dogs – just add how many dogs you wish to bring to the event with our complimentary pooch pass.

    It’s official, this British classic is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, reintroducing the plans for a new business venture with ‘The Italian Job’. What better way to celebrate this anniversary than at our open-air screening with Thirlestane Castle on 31st May as part of the ‘BVAC Classic – Festival of Motoring’. Sometimes nothing can quite surpass the original and this reigns true with Charlie Croker and his team bringing Turin to a standstill as they execute their elaborate heist. Come along and enjoy the magic of classic British cinema, there will be hot drinks and hot food available on the night from local traders. There are chairs available to hire when purchasing tickets, or bring your own along.
