  • Despicable Me- Monifieth- 07/09- Open-Air

Bringing Gru to you, in Monifieth of course. Luckily this is an early afternoon screening so we don’t have to worry about any moon being stolen. For all of his evil cunning, he meets his greatest match in three little girls; perhaps quite a few parents might be able to empathise with poor Gru here. If you’ve got a minions costume in the cupboard then you better search it out and get yourself along to Grange Primary School! Again, this is for a great cause and a lot of effort has been put in by the parent council to make this a great value event for the local community, your support would be incredibly well appreciated from everyone involved.
Bring along your chairs and please dress to the conditions. There will be hot drinks and food provided by some great local vendors. Gates will be open 45 minutes prior to the screening.
If you have any questions about ticketing please contact Matthew on 07794556303, or if you have any questions about the venue please contact Lynne on 07764750968.

  • The Greatest Showman- Monifieth- 06/09- Open-Air

It is definitely the greatest show and it’s coming to Monifieth! Get yourself along to Grange Primary School for a fundraising spectacular this September. This film needs no introduction, but we feel obliged to give one anyway… this already modern classic, inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, has one of the most memorable soundtracks of this century, particularly after Hugh Jackman’s incredible performance at the Brits this year. How many times can we see this classic? Apparently, never enough. This is for a great cause and a lot of effort has been put in by the parent council to make this a great value event for the local community, your support would be incredibly well appreciated from everyone involved.

  • Bohemian Rhapsody – 20/09 Glamis Castle – Open-Air (Dog Friendly)

Due to poor weather this event has been moved to 16/08 at 19:00. We all know third time’s the charm right?

It wasn’t going to be long before this blockbuster made its way to Glamis Castle this summer. There is a slight twist to this open-air screening at Glamis Castle with ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ being a totally dog-friendly screening to celebrate the return of the Dogs’ weekend at Glamis. We know we aren’t quite on the same timeline as the event, but the sentiment remains.

Bohemian Rhapsody charts the meteoric rise of Queen and the evolution of their music throughout the years, their highs and lows, and Freddie’s personal struggle with fame. The performance by Rami Malek is utterly captivating and accurately portrays him as the enigmatic entertainer that he was. Without giving too much away, the film has a distinctive bittersweet charm that encapsulates Mercury’s life so well. Most importantly this film is a celebration of one of our greatest musical exports ever.

There will be hot drinks and hot food available from local vendors as per usual. This is an outdoor screening so please do dress to the conditions, we always endeavour to make a call on the weather 36Hrs prior to a screening. Bring your seats and anything else that you would like to enjoy the evening.

If you are bringing your pooch along, please clean up after them and keep them on a lead at all times.
